Arunjeev Singh, is the General Secretary of the Kiwi Indian Charitable and Social Club New Zealand. He is an experienced lawyer and practising as a barrister sole in New Zealand for the last over 10 years.
He is among few Sikh & Punjabi Lawyers of New Zealand. He represents a class of people who started from scratch and achieved distinction in their field by dint of sheer hard work and outstanding services to the New Zealand community. He is a famed lawyer in New Zealand because of his commitment to charitable work, excellence in legal field, friendly service and professional dealings. He served as a trustee on the Board of Trustees at Papakura Central School during 2011- 2013.
He is actively involved in the activities of charities such as ‘Voluntary Law Association of India New Zealand Inc’ and “Universal Peace Federation”.
He is providing free Legal Advice to the clients of Citizens Advice Bureau, Papakura for the last over six years. His outstanding services to the community have been widely acknowledged and appreciated.
He has received many awards in recognition of his voluntary services to the community and has also authored many literary works. He specialises in Immigration Law, Family law, Criminal law, Employment law and Civil Litigation.
LITERARY WORKS 1. 2005:
Edited a reference book against Death Penalty. The book titled “Can the Society escape the noose?” is a knowledge basket of International law on the subject of Capital punishment.
2. 2010: Helped New Zealand Police in translating an information booklet from English to Punjabi language.
3. 2011: Wrote a guide for new settlers in New Zealand which was published in Punjabi language and widely appreciated among the Indian community.
4. 2014: Wrote a book in English, titled “Election Fraudsters Nailed” to expose the electoral fraud that took place in South Auckland, New Zealand in 2010 Auckland Council elections.
He also featured in a Television documentary on national channel in New Zealand for his outstanding service to the community.

Awarded with a ‘Volunteer Award’ by the Papakura District Council for his services to the community.
